COVID-19 Disaster Food Distribution Update
8:30 a.m. until we're out of food. A good time to arrive is between 7:00 a.m. - 7:30 a.m. to get a good place in line. (Distribution Calendar is posted on the left side of this page.)

New Volunteers are required to have a current COVID-19 Test w/Results.
Volunteers will be notified of delivery time on Monday's First Responder Update (email).
Volunteers for Monday Prep Days and Wednesday (Disaster Food Distribution).

Important Reminders
Mask Up - It is extremely important to always wear your mask, don't touch your face, wash your hands, and wear gloves. This protects you and others from contracting the COVID-19 virus.
Eviction & Utility Pledge Assistance (Important: Requires access to a printer w/scanner in order to email documents) Beginning Monday, July 20, at 10 am clients living in the following zip codes may call and schedule an appointment for assistance: 77044, 77338, 77346, 77347, and 77396.
Procedure:
Clients may call (281) 540-1907 to schedule an online ZOOM appointment. The client must have access to a smartphone or computer with an installed camera and microphone.
The client will need to email crubio@st-mm.com upon confirmation of assistance.
Eviction: Magdalene House Application (on file), Eviction Notice (court order preferred), Valid ID, Pledge Commitments from another agency/church.
Utilities: Magdalene House Application (on file), Disconnect Notice, Valid ID, Pledge Commitments from another agency/church.
Once received, the Intake Coordinator will email the zoom access information to the client along with the date and time of the meeting. It's very important that the client is on time for the meeting.
The director of social services will review the request(s) and zoom call with the client.
**Important - We understand that this is a very stressful time for many in our community. Please keep accurate information and document any/all conversations that you've had with your landlord and utility providers. Also, try to make partial payments, if possible, to stay in good faith with your provider(s).
Hotel Vouchers, While Magdalene House Social Services does assist with Courty Order Eviction Notices, for individuals residing within our parish boundaries, we are unable to assist with Hotel Vouchers.
