Establishment of Young at Heart

St. Mary Magdalene “Young at Heart” was formed in January, 2003 to serve the interests of our parish’s vital senior community. Originally organized for seniors 55 years and older, the organization has changed as the bus requirements have changed.  We now offer monthly day trips for seniors 50 years of age and older using Harris County Precinct 4 buses, and following Precinct 4 guidelines.

“Young At Heart” also hosts Parish wide trips using local charter bus services to locations such as Canton, Texas’ First Monday Show, Round Top Antiques Show, for gaming in Louisiana, and extended week long trips.  Young at Heart also hosts cruises, and other motorcoach trips.

Day Only Trips

Harris County Precinct 4 offers complimentary bus transportation through its Senior Adult Program to seniors over the age of 50.  Using this service, trips are coordinated by Young At Heart.  Bus service is provided in a 150 mile radius of the “greater Houston area”.
