HOW IS YOUR PRAYER LIFE? If it’s not exactly what you want it to be, let us help you. One excellent way to improve your prayer life is to read the readings of each day’s Mass. Go to www.usccb.org and click on “bible.” Another good source is www.passionist.org/reflection/daily. On these sites, you can also read the reflections, listen to a podcast, or view a video on the readings. See what a difference God’s Word can make for you! You can pray every day with www.divineoffice.org, an award-winning website. Would you like more help with prayer? Contact the parish office and we will help you!
FIND 30 MINUTES IN YOUR WEEK TO COME PRAY WITH US! If you’ve got 30 minutes, we’ve got an offer: a postive way to prepare yourself to get MORE out of Sunday Mass, be more attendive to God’s holy Word and allow the Word of God to speak to you: attend our Breaking Open of the Word held most Thursdays in the church from 7:00-7:30 pm beginning Thursday, August 8 in conjunction with RCIA. Guests and visitors always welcome. Prayer very much resembles the Liturgy of the Word portion of the Mass; we reflect on the readings of the coming Sunday Eucharist. Optional: Join us afterwards for the catechetical learning session from 7:30-8:45 in room 215.
